The French Self-Employed Visa (Visa Profession Libérale) is a residence permit designed for entrepreneurs, artists, consultants, and other professionals who wish to engage in freelance or independent business activities in France. This visa allows holders to legally conduct commercial activities in France and provides a pathway to long-term residence or permanent residency (10-year residence card). To launch or invest in a French business, a minimum capital of €30,000 must be provided.
