Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) To be eligible to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, potential candidates must meet the minimum requirements for work, language ability, education and obtain at least 67 points under the program's 100-point grid. Canadian Experience Class(CEC) Candidates with Canadian experience are able to obtain more Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points under Express Entry. This increases their chances of obtaining permanent residence. Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) It is part of a major effort by federal and provincial governments to welcomed more skilled trades workers to Canada to address labour shortages in trades occupations. International students with at least one year of Canadian work experience may find the CEC as a suitable option to pursue PR,they are well-positioned to be competitive under Express Entry.

IRCC conducts regular draws (every ~2 weeks), inviting high-scoring candidates. After receiving an ITA, you have 60 days to submit a complete application.

Processing time is typically under 6 months (for 80% of cases). After approval, you must land in Canada within 1 year to activate PR status.
